“Every time I am in Girdwood, I look forward to going to Mother Hubbard's for gifts for friends and family (and myself)! The store is in a little log cabin and when you enter the door in winter you are greeted by a wood stove and the delicious smells of the products sold at the store. Beautiful artisan candles and home wares. My favorite recent purchase is Palo Santo wood in a glass jar with a cork stopper and a matching glass jar with matches. The Palo Santo wood smells heavenly and is a nice change from candles. When you go, make sure to eat at the restaurant next door (Jack Sprat).”
